Microfinance

Opportunity International provides financial products and strategies to over two million people working their way out of poverty in the developing world. Clients in more than 20 countries can use these services to expand a business, provide for their families, create jobs for their neighbours and build a safety net for the future.

Loans

Loans

When our clients build a business with an Opportunity loan, family income rises. Children are well-fed and go to school. Neighbours become employees. Homes are improved. Women, who comprise 84% of our clients, gain status. These transformations take place every day—beginning with loans as little as $60. Opportunity offers a mix of loan products, enabling clients to access larger loans as their businesses grow. A 95% loan repayment rate allows us to keep more money circulating in new loans.
