During the weekdays I am submerged in the concrete jungle in Calgary, Alberta where I have a thriving career in the oil and gas industry.

Aside from that, my wonderful husband Roland (of 5 years) and I participate in outdoor activities that take us to the Rocky Mountains each weekend where we spend our time in Golden, BC. (our second home)

Our passions also include adventure travel and have enjoyed many international trips encompassing adventure and also philanthropic pursuits.  After visiting Rwanda in 2010, I discovered Opportunity International through my husband who was invited to the annual luncheon by his coworker. Shortly after that I joined the Board of Governors for Opportunity International Canada.

Poverty Cure - from Aid to Enterprise

Last time Roland and I were in Rwanda we were on a mission to see the Gorillas in the wild. On February 9th we are heading back, but this time on a different mission. And, yes, we are buckled up for this amazing experience of a lifetime where we will see first hand the impact that Opportunity International and it's partners are making in Africa. Looking forward to travelling and sharing this experience with our friends Doris, Kim, Kevin, Dorthy, and Simon.
